Tour in autobus hop-on hop-off City Sightseeing di Budapest

The tour was pretty average sadly and fell well short of the bus tour we enjoyed in Vienna which was first class

The green route was non existence or not running no explanation as to why. The commentary wasn’t very good. The map did not correlate to the bus stops and they were hard to find

No problem with on off bus. Went to catch the 3pm boat trip but no boat or member of staff. Rang the telephone number on paperwork, no reply

Difficult to find pick up point. Bus was open top with tarpaulin but seats were wet and no warning that you needed to be careful to avoid banging your head on the top deck. Commentary needs expanding to avoid long stretches where only music played.

It would have been useful if the cruise boat had copies of the bus route/map, so that we knew where to go. The headphones and quality wasn't fantastic. A good way to see the city and get about.

Initially we were not given a guide with the routes and stops by the guide on board. She said that she didn’t have any but later when we enquired about which stop we needed to get off which was closest to the ship she suddenly produced the guide to us. We then asked why she had said that she had no guides when we got on the driver made some joke saying that she did not speak English which was (his way of a joke).She was obviously too lazy to give them out. The guide needs to be more pro-active.
