Cosa aspettarsi

Come la vicina Pompei, anche l'antica Ercolano subì un destino simile per mano del Vesuvio che eruttò nel 79 d.C.. Fortunatamente, gli archeologi sono riusciti a scavare parti della città e questo tour di mezza giornata vi mostrerà cosa sono riusciti a portare alla luce finora.

Fossilizzata nel tempo dalla roccia vulcanica che seppellì tragicamente la città, passeggiare per il sito archeologico di Ercolano è come sfogliare un libro di storia a cielo aperto. Questo tour vi porterà da e per il sito in una sola mattinata, con tempo sufficiente per esplorare le reliquie storiche con una passeggiata guidata.

Potrete anche vedere pezzi di mobili conservati, pavimenti in legno delle case, mosaici sul pavimento e sculture mentre date un'occhiata alle case e alle strade. Tutto questo l'ha resa Patrimonio dell'Umanità dell'UNESCO e vi offre una visione impareggiabile della vita degli antichi romani.
