Inside, you will spend time trying out Leonardo's most amazing inventions, including the tank engine, the aerial screw, the vertical ornithopter, the wing test, and many others.

The Museum is dedicated to those who want to participate in active experimentation, becoming the protagonist of an incredible journey through time in search of the most important mechanical and engineering inventions of Renaissance history.

Meeting point:

The museum is located 100 metres from Florence Cathedral and the Accademia Gallery. From the Santa Maria Novella railway station you can reach the museum by walking about 15 minutes in the direction of Via dei Cerrerani and then Piazza Duomo.

What to remember

The purchase of a student ticket between the ages of 18 and 23 requires a valid student card to be shown at the entrance
The visit to the museum is recommended from 7/8 years of age
The museum has a visit regulation that will be reminded to each visitor at the entrance
Video filming is not permitted inside the museum, but it is possible to take souvenir photos for private use
